ANXIETY
Anxiety is a state of mind or reaction that is commonly experienced by humans. Although anxiety can protect us from danger, it can often trigger false alarms in modern society. For example, our brain can trick us into believing that being around others in public transportation or going outside our house is dangerous. Therapy can help us to understand the function of anxiety and re-train our minds to use anxiety in a healthy way that serves us well.
Anxiety-related disorders we treat include the following: OCD, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, and phobias.
