Ran Song, M.A.

Korean Clinical Psychologist

My Approach:

Through psychological evaluations, I provide guidance and a sense of direction for a rich and effective therapeutic treatment experience for clients. Even though individuals experience the same event, we all react and behave differently, which is why we need to use an individually tailored, evidence-based approach. Psychological evaluations not only assess an individual’s psychological well-being, but also it is a process of deeply understanding one’s life history. I help analyze the following elements that have caused a client’s psychological difficulties: antecedents, maintaining factors, temperament and personality, and repeatable life patterns and coping strategies. Through this experience, clients can expect to acknowledge a side of them that they didn’t know existed, as well as identify their unique strengths and weaknesses in the hopes of expanding self-understanding. It takes great courage to seek psychological help, so I applaud every client who walks through the counseling center! With an compassionate and objective attitude, I promise to listen intently to clients’ hardships.
